Robson Square

Robson square is a collection of buildings and open spaces designed by architect Arthur Erickson. Situated on busy Ronson street, the public spaces are a gathering point for young people, partucularly on warm summer evenings.

The New Courthouse is a long low structure with impressive sloping glass sides. Bordering the courthouse is a public space with a waterfall and trees. A lower level, still open but partially covered by a curved roof has restaurants, conference rooms and a skating rink.

In the summer the cafes and restaurants of the lower level are a great place to take a break from shopping and find some shelter from the sun
